If actual load stow positions differ from the planned positions, you can quickly modify the stow plans. The most common method of reconciling container positions is to switch them.
You can switch container positions by dragging one or more containers over existing containers. This method is especially helpful when working in a bay or yard section that is fully planned because you can swap the containers directly without having to create open slots.
Before switching container positions, make sure that the containers that you want to switch are unlocked and unconfirmed. See Locking or unlocking planned moves and Confirming or unconfirming planned moves.
After switching container positions and reconciling the planned container positions with the actual container positions, you can manually complete the moves (on page 1).
To switch individual containers:
Open a section view of the bay.
In the section view, do the following:
Set the timeframe to Stow or Future.
Set the view to the Equipment ID icon format.
The container icons display their equipment ID numbers.
To switch individual containers, select the first container.
To switch groups of containers, select all containers in the first group.
Hold down the mouse button until the pointer turns into a hand.
Drag the selected container or containers over another planned container or another group of planned containers.
Release the mouse button.
The two containers or container groups switch positions.
